Sun 22 thru Tue 24 Sep 2013: We left Silverton this a.m. and moved on to Mancos, CO, which is where Mesa Verde is located a mile down the road. Going into the park tomorrow afternoon for some sightseeing. It's pouring here now. We've done our Wal Mart run in Cortez and are in for the day. This Mesa Verde RV Resort (site #40) www.mesaverdervresort.com is wonderful and has great WiFi too! Flash flood warnings around us but we are on high ground. We're so glad we moved on to Mancos instead of Durango too because they had a bad hail storm yesterday afternoon! Heading there tomorrow am so we can take the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge train at 8:45 a.m. on Wed. Hope the weather co-operates!
